\r\n\r\n Service user confidentiality is, wherever possible,\r\n maintained. On occasion, it will be necessary, for the\r\n benefit of the service user or others to share personal\r\n information with either other professionals or\r\n organisations. Where possible, service users are consulted\r\n and their views taken into account.\r\n
\r\n\r\n Dignity All individuals, whatever their\r\n circumstances, have the right to be treated with dignity\r\n and respect.
\r\n Choice Services are designed to be accessible and\r\n flexible, promoting ordinary lifestyles and based upon\r\n client's own choices. Individual choice is promoted,\r\n within the limits imposed by service constraints.\r\n
\r\n Many clients, because of their circumstances, (e.g. age,\r\n disability, gender, marital status, sexual orientation,\r\n culture, religion or nationality), may find themselves in\r\n circumstances in which discrimination can occur. RHS24\r\n designs its services and delivery to, wherever possible,\r\n promote equality and counteract discrimination where it\r\n arises.\r\n
\r\n\r\n Clients are enabled to live independently. Services are\r\n aimed at maximising the individual's capacity for\r\n self-care and mobility. Every individual, whatever their\r\n circumstances, has the potential for development, and the\r\n right to hold personal aspirations. Within the boundaries\r\n set by legislation and professional social work ethics,\r\n service users are encouraged in achieving their personal\r\n goals.\r\n
\r\n\r\n Rights The rights of citizenship are safeguarded\r\n for all service users. Work should be conducted in a\r\n manner that facilitates empowerment and makes appropriate\r\n use of advocacy. and respect.
\r\n Responsibilities Clients are expected to accept\r\n appropriate responsibilities, taking into account their\r\n particular abilities and circumstances. These may include\r\n having due regard for others, for property or for\r\n participation in Care Plans.\r\n
\r\n Family Support The value of the contribution of\r\n client's family support is fully recognised. The needs of\r\n the client we are providing, or intending to provide,\r\n regular or substantial care is, where requested, assessed\r\n independently of the needs of the client. The outcome of\r\n the assessment is taken into account when agreeing Care\r\n Plans.\r\n
